Crucifix
An exercise to isolate the shoulders and upper arms by holding weights stationary in outstretched arms.
Instructions
- Stand or sit upright and hold light dumbbells in each hand.
- Extend your arms out to the sides, keeping them parallel to the ground.
- Maintain a slight bend in your elbows to reduce strain.
- Hold this position for the desired amount of time, keeping your core engaged.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using weights that are too heavy, causing strain.
- Allowing arms to drop below parallel.
- Failing to engage core muscles.
