Close Grip Ez Bar Press
An exercise targeting the triceps through pressing motion.
Instructions
- Lie on a flat bench and hold an EZ curl bar with a narrow grip, keeping your hands about shoulder-width apart.
- Keep your elbows tucked in close to your body and lower the bar to your chest, inhaling as you do so.
- Press the bar back up to the starting position, extending your arms fully and exhaling as you push.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Flaring out elbows during the press, which reduces triceps activation.
- Using a grip that is too wide, shifting focus away from the triceps.
- Arching the back excessively while pressing.
