Close Grip Dumbbell Press
A dumbbell press variation focusing on the triceps by keeping a narrow grip.
Instructions
- Lie on a flat bench with a dumbbell in each hand.
- Hold the dumbbells with a neutral grip above your chest.
- Lower the dumbbells slowly, keeping them close together, until your elbows are at about 90 degrees.
- Press the dumbbells back up to the starting position by extending your arms.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Letting the elbows flare out to the sides too much.
- Using too heavy weight leading to poor form.
- Not maintaining a full range of motion.
