Cable Judo Flip
A powerful exercise mimicking the judo flip movement to enhance strength and explosive power in the upper body.
Instructions
- Attach a rope handle to the low pulley of a cable machine.
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, facing away from the machine.
- Grasp the rope handle with both hands over your shoulder as if to mimic a judo flip position.
- Pull the cable over your shoulder and across your body explosively, rotating your torso substantially.
- Return to the start position under control and repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using too much weight and compromising form.
- Inadequate torso rotation leading to less engagement.
- Not returning to the start position in a controlled manner.
