Cable Internal Rotation
A 200-characters-or-less explanation of the exercise.
Instructions
- Stand next to a cable machine with the cable set at elbow height.
- Grasp the cable handle with the hand closest to the machine, keeping your elbow at a 90-degree angle.
- Start with your forearm across your body and pull the cable away from the machine, rotating your arm internally.
- Keep your elbow tucked into your side and control the movement as you return to the starting position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Allowing the elbow to drift away from the body.
- Using too much weight leading to poor form.
- Failing to control the motion, especially when returning to the start position.
- Rotating the shoulder instead of internally rotating the arm.
