Cable Incline Triceps Extension
An effective exercise targeting the triceps, performed on an incline bench.
Instructions
- Adjust the incline bench to a 45-degree angle and position it a few feet away from a cable machine.
- Attach a rope or straight bar to the low pulley of the cable machine.
- Sit on the incline bench, facing away from the cable machine, holding the rope or bar with an overhand grip.
- Keep your elbows close to your head and extend your arms fully without moving your upper arms.
- Slowly return to the starting position, allowing your elbows to bend and keeping control of the movement.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Flaring the elbows outwards instead of keeping them close to the head.
- Using momentum instead of muscle strength to lift the weight.
- Arching the back excessively during the exercise.
