Cable Crunch
Perform cable crunches using a cable machine to effectively target your abdominal muscles.
Instructions
- Attach a rope handle to the high pulley of a cable station.
- Kneel in front of the station with the cable gradient directly above your head.
- Grasp the rope and place your hands next to your head.
- Bend forward at the waist, bringing your shoulders towards your knees.
- Squeeze your abs hard at the bottom of the movement and then slowly return to the starting position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using the arms to pull the weight rather than the abdominals.
- Not keeping the lower back stable and rounding it during the movement.
- Using too much weight, reducing the effectiveness of the exercise.
