Barbell Rollout From Bench
A core strengthening exercise performed using a barbell from a bench.
Instructions
- Place a barbell in front of a bench.
- Kneel on the bench with your knees at the edge.
- Grip the barbell with both hands shoulder-width apart.
- Roll the barbell forward while maintaining a straight back and engaging your core.
- Extend as far as comfortable without touching the ground.
- Pull the barbell back to the starting position using your core.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Arching the back during the rollout.
- Not engaging the core fully throughout the exercise.
- Rolling out too far, causing loss of control.
