Barbell Rear Delt Row
An exercise targeting the rear delts and upper back muscles using a barbell.
Instructions
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold a barbell with an overhand grip.
- Bend your knees slightly and hinge at the hips, keeping your back flat.
- Pull the barbell towards your chest, focusing on squeezing your shoulder blades together.
- Pause at the top of the movement, then slowly lower the barbell back to the starting position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Rounding the back during the movement.
- Using too much momentum instead of controlled movement.
- Not fully retracting the shoulder blades.
