Barbell Curl
A fundamental exercise for strengthening the biceps.

Instructions
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell with an underhand grip.
- Keep your elbows close to your torso and your back straight.
- Exhale and curl the barbell up towards your shoulders while contracting your biceps.
- Pause at the top of the movement and squeeze your biceps.
- Slowly lower the barbell back to the starting position, inhaling as you do so.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Swinging the body to lift the barbell instead of isolating the biceps.
- Lifting the elbows away from the torso.
- Using too much weight, which can compromise form.
