Band Pull Apart
Strengthen the upper back and shoulders by pulling resistance bands apart.
Instructions
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- Hold the band with both hands, palms facing down.
- Extend your arms straight in front of you at shoulder height.
- Pull the band apart by moving your hands outward, keeping them at shoulder height.
- Squeeze your shoulder blades together at the end of the movement.
- Slowly return to the starting position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using too much tension and compromising form.
- Allowing the shoulders to raise near the ears.
- Not squeezing the shoulder blades fully at the end of the movement.
