Band Assisted Pull Up
Band assisted pull-ups aid in strength building by reducing the weight you have to lift, utilizing a band for support.
Instructions
- Set up a resistance band on a pull-up bar.
- Place your foot or knee into the band loop to help counterbalance your weight.
- Grab the pull-up bar with an overhand grip, hands shoulder-width apart.
- Engage your core and pull yourself up until your chin is above the bar.
- Slowly lower yourself back to the start position.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using momentum to swing up instead of pulling.
- Not engaging the core throughout the movement.
- Failing to lower all the way down, reducing range of motion.
