Ankle On The Knee
A calming stretch exercise targeting the hips and lower back.
Instructions
- Sit on the floor with your back straight and legs extended.
- Cross one ankle over the opposite knee.
- Lean forward gently, keeping the back straight, until a stretch is felt in the hips and lower back.
- Hold the position, breathing deeply, then switch to the other leg.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Rounding the back instead of keeping it straight.
- Forcing the stretch too far, causing discomfort.
